Texas Prison Inmate Search
Do you need to find someone in Texas prison? If a family member or loved one has been sent to prison, you might be wondering how to find them. Probably you want to write to them and stay in touch while they do their time.
I used to be able to display a form on this page that let folks search for inmates within TDC but the folks at TDCJ have changed the way things work and I cannot make it work now. I hope to have a solution soon. Meanwhile please continue to send your questions to me and I will keep trying to help y’all. Sorry for the hassle.
You can also check these other pages I have with information about Texas prison, Federal prison, and, soon to come, county jails in Texas.

Hello
I recently visited your site intexasprison.com from a Google search using the Google chrome browser.
I wanted to reach out as I noticed it displayed a not secure warning just to the left of where the url is displayed, rather than the usual padlock icon you see on similar sites to yours. Do you get that as well when you visit your site? If you read on Google’s support site they tell you more about it here https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95617
It kinda put me off but then I thought it is usually a simple fix, so thought I would reach out and tell you. Usually you just update your ssl certificate and it instantly increases your credability online so people work with you not the competition.
I don’t tend to get involved in things like this but my good friend Kim over at fixhackedsite tells me it is a simple fix that you can do yourself or she can help you with.
If you need any help with it reach out to her at help@fixssl.on.spiceworks.com
Thank you, and I hope your site appears more secure soon to increase website visitor trust,
Bryan

My bf is serving a 5yr sentence in TDCJ. Sentenced on 12/1/19. Denied parole 5/2021 and received serve all. 3/22 he went “under review” It’s now July 2022 and he’s still under review. Projected release date is 8/4/22. He’s received no answer as of yet. If released it’s on Discretionary Release to mandatory supervision (short way). They have not called to verify my residence either. Is that normal to be so close to projected release date with no answer??
My husband was transferred to prison and I haven’t heard from him and can’t seem to find him on online can someone please tell how I can find him
Hello,
My boyfriend made parole for his first time, but can someone explain to me exactly what this means:
FI-3R (11/2021)- Transfer to a TDCJ rehabilitation program, such as Changes/Lifeskills, and release to parole on or after completion and not earlier than three months from the specified date of 11/2021.
This confuses me, how soon can he be released and go home?
Thanks,
Adreana
he’ll get parole in November, and have to do a 3 month program before he comes home.
Hello,
After being transferred to TDCJ rehabilitation program (the transfer has already taken place), how long is the process to start the Changes/Lifeskills program that is a condition of his parole?
Thanks,
Adreana
He will do a changes class and then go home
